Once again getting carried away in class I stumbled upon a guy who does Morgan Freeman impressions for the low low price of $5. It goes without saying that I needed to incorporate this into our "create your own plant" project. For my project I decided to base my design off of a jelly fish. This was our first ever C4D project so I wanted to keep it simple yet fun. I combined their anatomy with that of a basic mushroom. the big thing is I wanted to focus on underwater motion animation and glow features. The one critique I have received on several occasions for this video is the "choppy frame rate". This was intentional to attempt to capture the pulsing movement of the creature and limit render times. I would not make this decision if I ever decide to revisit this assignment.
